Brenda Taylor, Ph.D., CALT, LDT, NCED

Brenda Taylor is the Owner of T3 Educational Services.  She brings over 30 years of experience in working with students and educators to her practice.  Throughout her career, she has had a passion for students who struggle with learning in the classroom.  This passion has become focused specifically on students who experience language-based difficulties that impact learning to read and/or write. 

Brenda earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas-Austin, a master's degree in Special Education from Texas Woman's University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Reading and Literacy from Texas A&M University.  She has served in various positions throughout her career - as a teacher, both general and special education; as an educational diagnostician; as a dyslexia specialist; and as an educational consultant. Additionally, she served as the Dyslexia  Consultant for the state of Texas. 

Other opportunities during her career involved working as an assessment specialist in the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital; as an adjunct instructor at Neuhaus Education Center; and as an Lecturer in the department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture at Texas A&M University. She has presented nationally and across the state of Texas on topics related to dyslexia, dysgraphia, and assessment.

  • Licensed Dyslexia Therapist-Texas, #1014

  • Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician, #0741
